The Heartmatique Moissanite Bezel: Brilliance, Used with Restraint

On selected Heartmatique references, the bezel is set with moissanite. It adds brilliance around the dial while the open heart at 7 o’clock keeps the movement at the centre of attention.

What moissanite is

Moissanite used in jewellery is typically laboratory-created. Its chemical name is silicon carbide.

The International Gem Society (IGS) lists synthetic moissanite at 9½ on the Mohs hardness scale.

Which Heartmatique references carry it

Five references carry a moissanite-set bezel. On British Green, it is one of two bezel options. The other references use a Clous de Paris bezel.

Every reference shares the same 40mm 316L stainless-steel case and Miyota 82S7 automatic movement.

Brilliance, used with restraint

The moissanite is there to frame the watch, not to take it over. It adds controlled brilliance without overwhelming the watch’s mechanical character.

The open heart at 7 o’clock shows the balance wheel at work. The applied Obus markers and Dauphine hands keep the dial easy to read. Around them, the bezel catches the light as the wrist moves.
